A new beginning Right back to where we started from So unforgiving Another ticking time bomb So are we living? This has become foreign to me Barely existing In this bleak reality Do you feel so alone? So alone Do the thorns tear your skin to the bone? And now the pieces fall into obscurity And know the pieces fall from this fucked reality

No Stars 08:09
Floating endlessly On this dark and lonely sea Will I see tomorrow? There are no stars to follow No stars left to follow No gods in my sky Signal growing stronger Can’t stay here much longer Stomach's feeling hollow There are no stars left to follow No stars left to follow No gods in my sky I write these words for the one I need A letter you may never get to read Was this all I was meant to be? Just a sunken grave in this cold dark sea

Unanswered 08:03
Did you have a nightmare? And see your world left for dead Lost all recognition was it all in your head? Or just another day So you throw it all away And leave us behind Was it always this way? What made you change your mind? I just can’t make sense of this It seemed so late in the game The worst had seem to pass You know it’s such a shame To say goodbye So you throw it all away And leave us behind Was it always this way? What made you change your mind? Unanswered we stay What made you cross that line? The truth led you astray I wish you changed your mind One last time into the fray It doesn’t have to be this way So you throw it all away And leave us behind Was it always this way? What made you change your mind? Unanswered we stay What made you cross that line? The truth led you astray I wish you changed your mind

Lost in this place with nowhere to go Been here so long ten years or so With no one around all on my own A king of none on his broken throne Why am I here? What’s left for me? Why am I here? What’s left for me? I feel so tired of who I’ve become I feel empty, my senses numb Why am I here? What’s left for me? Why am I here? What’s left for me? The walls come crumbling down What’s left for me? Take this broken boy and run on home Safe in Mothers arms again

Just another day in bed Life’s messing with my head Just another ambitious fool Who should have stayed in school It’s so easy to look back now It’s so easy to look back now And see where it all went wrong Gotten so good at being wrong Think I’ve known this all along Trying to find some peace of mind How could life be so unkind? It’s so easy to look back now It’s so easy to look back now And see where it all went wrong Wishing I could go back in time But it’s too late to change my mind I wonder if you’re still the same Wonder if you still know my name It’s so easy to look back now It’s so easy to look back now And see where it all went wrong Feeling desperate all the time Picked apart and left behind Why do I have to live in fear? While you live life without a care Find me away out of here Please don’t let me go back there Don’t let me live in despair Find me away out of here

about

Fables is an album with it's roots in progressive rock and metal. It starts heavy and has it's mellower moments in the middle. Very much a group effort this album has a little bit of everything that influenced the members of the band
